Architecture Program
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION - ARCHITECTURE
The Architecture program begins with an introduction to the elements and principles of art and design. The program combines architecture and interior design skills using multiple computer programs. A student completing the two year program leaves with a comprehensive portfolio highlighting every aspect of interior design including commercial, residential, upholstery, kitchen, bath, lighting and window treatment designs. The architecture portion of the program focuses on architectural history and the use of Google Sketch Up and AutoCAD.

Course length: 2 years

6 CTE elective credits; 1.0 English; Math 1.0
*Course must be taken with 3D Art, which determines maximum credits that can be awarded.

COLLEGE CREDITS AND CERTIFICATIONS
Upon successful completion of this program, student may receives college credits pending entrance procedures established. Students may also receives an industry certification pending successful completion of an industry certification exam. All students completing this program and passing the appropriate industry certification exam will receive an endorsed high school diploma.
