PROGRAM DESCRIPITON - 3D ART
Use your artistic talent for a future in 3D Design! 3D Design students will gain an understanding of design and software used for 3D modeling and printing. This class will combine artistic and technical skills. Students will explore careers in product, package, 3D modeling used for television, movies and gaming. There are also opportunities for 3D design careers in medical and science related careers. 3D design careers are expected to grow at a steady pace over the next 10 years.
Course available: Grades 11 - 12
Course length: 2 years
Credits: 6 CTE elective credits; 1.0 English; 1.0 Math
*Course must be taken with Architecture and Interior Design, which determines maximum credits that can be awarded.

COLLEGE CREDITS AND CERTIFICATIONS
Upon successful completion of this program, students may receive college credits pending entrance procedures established. Students may also receive industry certification pending successful completion of an industry certification exam. All students completing this program and passing the appropriate industry certification exam will receive an endorsed high school diploma.
